I know this business inside and out. Representing buyers and sellers in Berkeley, Rockridge and Albany for more than two decades, I’ve sold almost $100,000,000 of local real estate – through weak markets and strong ones.
Hi, I’m John. I’m hands-on. I’ve restored more than a dozen homes in Berkeley and Rockridge, including an 1894 Queen Anne mansion, a 1904 brown shingle in the heart of Elmwood, and several other historical homes. I’ve also worked on multi-unit buildings, condo conversions, 'granny units' and rental housing. My familiarity with all aspects of renovation and development, as well as construction, design, and permits and zoning, allows me to facilitate graceful, trouble-free transactions.
Dozens of owners have trusted me to prepare their homes for sale. Wisely guiding them to get the biggest bang for their buck, I share contacts and connections in the building, remodeling and trades communities. Of course, extensive marketing and exposure is also crucial to a sale. Once a property is properly prepared I conduct an intensive campaign to assure the highest price possible for each property I list. And if you want to assess property income potential, I’m ready to provide informed, creative guidance regarding land use and rent control matters.
Because I’m savvy about the real estate business both as an agent representing buyers and sellers and as a developer/investor, my knowledge of contracts, transaction structures and financing is comprehensive. I don’t miss a beat. Call me; I look forward to discussing your needs.
